THE ORIGIN
José Fernando Pérez Salamanca, third generation of winemakers, is the architect of “J. Fernando Family Wines”. His innate passion for the terroir and the vineyard marked the beginning of this journey in 1997, when he decided to embark on the adventure by planting the first vineyard of the winery in the town of El Toboso, located in the province of Toledo. Later, in 2005, he built the first winery of the group, the Finca la Venta de Don Quijote, located in an area of enviable beauty.
PASSION & QUALITY
Our family’s true passion is reflected in our tireless search for new terroirs, climates and native varieties, which has driven us to grow over the years into other wine regions.
In 2017, we started a new chapter by planting vineyards in the D.O. Rueda, and two years later, the construction of our third winery, located in the same town of Rueda, in the province of Valladolid.
From our origins to the present day, Bodegas J.Fernando has become a winemaking project synonymous with quality, from El Toboso, in the province of Toledo, where we have our headquarters, to having a presence in more than 20 countries and a continuous expansion on an international level.
